Bichectomy

Breasts that balance and harmonise your body shape

What is bichectomy?

Bichectomy, also known as the removal of Bichat’s fat pads, is a cosmetic surgical procedure aimed at slimming your face and enhancing your cheekbones by removing these fat deposits located in the cheeks, between the masseter and buccinator muscles.

Bichat’s fat pads can make your face appear rounder, affecting not only your self-image but also your overall style and appearance. This procedure helps harmonise the face, giving it a more symmetrical, slender, and even prominent contour, redefining your facial features.

What does the procedure involve?

As a minimally invasive procedure, results can be seen quickly, and you can return home the same day. Bichectomy begins with a small intraoral incision, inside the mouth at the upper jaw level, allowing access to carefully remove the Bichat fat pads.

Once the fat pads are extracted, the incision is sutured with absorbable stitches, leaving no visible trace of the procedure, ensuring a natural and enhanced appearance.
