What is lip augmentation?

Lip augmentation is performed by injecting hyaluronic acid into different areas of the lips.

The infiltration is carried out on an individual basis, depending on whether it is necessary to enhance the upper lip, the lower lip or simply improve your contour, always aiming to achieve a natural and long-lasting result.

After the lip augmentation, we apply an arnica cream for massaging the area and ice to reduce potential swelling, minimising health risks in the treated area post-treatment.

At home, massages and cold application will be necessary during the first few hours, and our specialists at the Instituto Dra. Ana Torres will provide you with the instructions to follow.

Hyaluronic acid stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, keeping the lips fuller and hydrated. This results in a more natural appearance and helps rejuvenate your lips.

For lip augmentation, we use the intradermal injection technique, which involves a very fine needle to minimise pain and discomfort. This also helps ensure a quicker and less traumatic recovery process.
