Buttock Augmentation Using the Patient’s Own Fat

We shape your figure with volume and balance

What is buttock augmentation surgery?

Buttock augmentation surgery is a surgical procedure designed to improve the size and shape of your buttocks using techniques such as fat transfer or hyaluronic acid injections.

At the Dra. Ana Torres Institute, we also offer implants to achieve optimal, long-lasting results. The effects are immediately visible, although the final result becomes apparent after a few months, as the swelling subsides and your body begins to show the final results.

What do the procedures involve?

For buttock augmentation surgery, we offer two treatment options: one is buttock implants, and the other is fat transfer using the patient’s own fat harvested from various parts of the body.

For buttock augmentation with implants, we perform the procedure through a hidden incision in the gluteal crease. The implants, which are specifically designed for this area, are placed intramuscularly or subfascially depending on the patient’s needs, resulting in a significant enhancement of the buttocks and very natural-looking results.

In the case of fat transfer, we extract fat from areas such as the abdomen, thighs, or hips, which is then purified to remove impurities and blood cells before being injected into the buttocks, as agreed upon with the patient.

Frequently Asked Questions

What type of anesthesia is used for buttock augmentation surgery?

The type of anesthesia can be either regional or general and is chosen in consultation with the anesthesiologist, who will determine which is most appropriate for each patient based on the specific case, medical requirements, and, of course, what is best for the patient’s health. Every case is unique, and at the Dr. Ana Torres Institute, we make the best decisions for each patient.

Does buttock augmentation surgery require a hospital stay?

Generally, the recovery period at the clinic following buttock augmentation surgery is 24 hours, but of course, every case is unique, and the specialist at the Instituto Dra. Ana Torres will provide the appropriate instructions, which each patient must strictly follow to achieve the best results. You can begin sitting after approximately 36 hours. When you leave the clinic, you will only be wearing a bandage over the incision and a light compression garment.

Do I need post-operative care after buttock augmentation surgery?

Postoperative care following buttock augmentation surgery involves only the use of antiseptics in the perineal area for one week. The sutures are removed after 15 days, and you can resume sports activities one month after the procedure. Natural-looking results become visible after 2 months and are fully established by 6 months, though the timeline may vary slightly if you properly follow the instructions provided by the specialist at the Dr. Ana Torres Institute.
