What is mastopexy?
Mastopexy or breast lift, also known as a breast augmentation, is a surgical and aesthetic procedure that seeks to lift and rejuvenate your breasts by correcting breast ptosis (sagging breasts).
During the procedure, it is possible to remove excess skin and restore firmness to your breasts without it looking artificial, giving a much more natural appearance and restoring your self-confidence.
What does the procedure involve?
Through an incision around the nipple and areola, in the shape of an “inverted T”, which extends towards the lower fold of the breasts, the skin is separated from the mammary gland, excess skin and glandular tissue are removed to proceed with the lifting.
At this point, we lift the mammary gland and reposition it higher and firmer. In some cases, it may be necessary to reposition the areola and/or nipple for greater symmetry and to improve the shape of the breasts, making the procedure much more effective.

*There may be swelling and some discomfort, which will gradually decrease, and the final results will be visible 3 months after the procedure.
