Dr. Ana Torres: Commitment to excellence in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery
Dr. Ana Torres, a distinguished specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery, graduated in Medicine from the University of Barcelona. Her outstanding professional career has been enriched by top-level international training, including eight years at the University of Frankfurt, Germany, and residencies at the renowned Sloan Kettering Center in New York and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, USA.
Specializing in microsurgery and innovative treatments, such as fat transfer and lipedema treatment, Dr. Ana Torres founded the Dr. Ana Torres Institute in 2006, which has become an international leader in the field. She teaches specialized courses and makes significant contributions to the scientific community.
She is currently an active member of SECPRE, ISAPS, and ASAPS. She served as president of SECPRE from 2022 to 2024 and as a member of the AECEP Board from 2017 to 2019.
